I love the running gag that the Vulcan Science Directorate’s view on physics repeatedly gets disproven by Enterprise. The VSD is like no way time travel, microsingularities, or alternate universes exist, they’re illogical! And then Enterprise comes along submitting all this data like Well Actually… lol
And now the Vulcan Science Academy has a shit ton of data and this is why they join the Federation. They’re like… we’re not gonna endanger ourselves by running these wacky experiments on purpose. But if the humans are gonna give themselves a temporal wedgie every other week, then shit, we’ll be their friends so they let us study those reports
