tng is so flippin' good and I utterly adore kirk but i think picard is the best captain they wrote him well and stewart played him well he wasn't infallible and he admitted it when he made mistakes or was wrong or didn't know what to do i loved that tng really committed to that philosophical struggle that they sometimes had to gloss over in TOS i love this show so much also DATA picard tng data
