IIRC, the first time they shot this Brent Spiner landed wrong and split his lip open on the edge of the table. He had to go to the hospital and have it cleaned and stitched up, then come back and have his Data make-up redone over it, THEN redo the shot without fucking his face up again.
I am just saying, I hope EVERYONE bought him after-work drinks.

It was the underside of his chin that split, and if you look carefully you can see the surgery tape under the makeup
