alright so in my opinion actually what makes gorf so magical is not so much that garak’s into it because like, that’s just his personality a little bit. he’s like “oh, i had a shitty dad, you ARE a shitty dad, you like to fight, you have these fucking arm muscles, what else needs to be said” plus like worf is objectively the hottest guy around by a mile. it makes sense on many levels that garak would want to fuck him and it’s not really that interesting imo.

what i DO think is really beautiful and special is that WORF is really hot for GARAK. that had not been shown to be his type previously. we can see him questioning his whole reality about it on multiple occasions. and ALSO because after jadzia dax, who is objectively the hottest chick around by a mile, this dude’s fucking first runner up is… elim garak. just in terms of raw sexual tension across multiple universes. imo.

ACTUALLY you know what i’m going to good naturedly argue with this post because while i agree that the magical side of gorf is worf being into it, garak is totally his type. 

from what we’ve seen in tng and ds9, worf’s type is flirtatious, gregarious, forward, confident (at least outwardly), sly, and would-at-least-stand-a-decent-chance-of-kicking-worf’s-ass-with-a-bat’leth. k’ehleyr, troi, and dax fulfill each fulfill most to all of those traits. hell, even the random male guest star (okona? i think it was okona. i found the whole episode unmemorable except for like two minutes of worf being bisexual) on tng that worf had some noticeable sexual tension with fulfilled those traits. 

and so does garak. down to a one. he just….. also happens to be (and i say this with utmost affection) an awful garbage lizard. the oh-god-i’m-attracted-to-garak existential crisis worf needs to have does not come from garak being outside his type. it comes from the fact that fucking elim garak fits smack dab in the middle of his type.
