#Kirk strikes me as a guy with too much energy #and McCoy is a slow riser if he’s not running to medbay #I think it must be rare for McCoy to catch Kirk sleeping #real sleep and not traumatized or drug-induced as it is after an injury #how McCoy must cherish those rare moments when he’s up first #and he can watch Kirk sleep #not as his doctor or the man on first watch #but knowing that this is a space they’re sharing #and that Kirk trusts him enough to be seen like this #a little softer (via spikeface)
