imagine the first time that jim kisses spock. spock is rattling off figures and rules in his computer-like voice and jim finds it so endearing, so irresistible, that he grabs spock’s face and smashes their lips together, and when he pulls away, spock’s usually carefully blank facial expression has disappeared and he looks so goddamned surprised that jim just has to laugh
