Sorry anon, I’ve been really busy. Also thank you so much… I miss drawing the comic *sigh*. Once ceases to be a disaster I’ll draw more ;). Anyway there’s a list of my fav s/a fanfics:
- Gratified by your company: “The year they met and married.“ This is the best fanfic EVER. In fact, this is the fanfic that inspired me to draw the comic (you can see lots of similarities). But really, read all the fics of this author (my senpai starfleetdream) because they are amazing.
- Building good HumanVulcan relations: “When Amanda is asked to show the Vulcan Ambassador Sarek around the school where she teaches she had no idea how much it would change her life.”
- Under the Mistletoe: “Amanda invites Vulcan Ambassador Sarek and his aide Soran to experience the Terran holidays with her family.”
- My child: “The Journal of Sarek and Amanda, chronicling their efforts in having a child together.”
- Exchange student: “In order to understand humans better, Sarek of Vulcan participates in an exchange student program. While staying with the Grayson family, he unexpectedly finds himself developing a close relationship with their daughter Amanda.”
- And then I recommend you the st novels “Sarek” and “The Vulcan Academy murders”

I’ll add a few:
A Tale of Two Mirrors: This is my absolute favorite Mirror Sarek/Amanda fic. Dark, complicated, and with a twist! And VickyfromGreece is writing in a language that isn’t native to her—-and yet and yet and yet still paints an evocative, totally mirrorverse-worthy picture.
I could literally list everything by Pat Foley here. I have never met anyone who writes so prolifically and with such an established headcanon Sarek/Amanda world. Here’s a little bit of a recommended order for those of you who don’t like to dive head-first into epic longfic:
Mermaid: At 3,500 words, this is a good short fic to start with. Amanda has just relocated to Vulcan and is getting used to her new life, new world, and new colleagues.
Small Talk: At 41,000 words, this is actually a medium-sized fic for Foley. Set during Spock’s childhood, Amanda is invited to speak at an academic conference and decides to go… alone. Vulcan insanity ensues, literally.
The Holography Series: This is the series Foley is best known for, and it includes a very canon, but also pretty dark, interpretation of Vulcan sexuality and relationships. Holography 1: The Catalyst starts with Spock’s decision to leave for Starfleet, Holography 2: Wedding Present or Starling’s Lament is Foley’s explanation for how a logical Vulcan family could even have an 18 year rift between father and son. Holography 3: As a Reminder and a Promise is the resolution of the trilogy, bringing the family back to the point where you could imagine Journey of Babel happening as it did. (Trigger warnings all around for this fic. If *anything* bothers you, this might not be the trilogy for you.)
A Vulcan Tea Party: This fic is an example of the badass friendships (and the fanfic collaboration that came from said friendships) of old school Trekkies. Spock is a child and Amanda has just gotten a job as a teacher at his school. Bonus, Vulcan is a Matriarchy, and this fic is all about what a world run by women would be like.
The Serendipity Paradox: This multi-fic Sarek/Amanda series is a masterwork from TomFooleryPrime! It really stretches from the beginning of their relationship to the end, and back again.
