A list of Very Important Things:
- Spock owning and wearing an old (pristinely kept, of course) t-shirt with the words “Starfleet Academy Mathletics Club” on it
- Spock in general domestic clothing
- Spock in sweaters
- Tight sweaters and baggy sweaters and all variations of sweaters
- Nyota particularly loves it when the sleeves of the sweaters are pushed back
- Arms, man
- Aos Nyota wearing tos earrings that Spock bought her way back in academy era because he thinks she’d like them and his mother advised him to give gifts in order to impress this girl who she’s never met but loves anyway because her son does
- Nyota deciding it’s a great idea to read a book of pre-Surakian love peotry she’s found out loud and Spock turning 349853094 shades of green
- But loving it actually
- Shenanigans ensue
- Uhura totally planned that, the sneaky bugger
- Spock slicing carrots and measuring each slice’s width precisely and Nyota reaching over from her spot on the counter (“sitting on cooking surfaces is-” “Unsanitary, I know”) and grabbing a piece just to see him struggle (he smiles instead, because he sees straight through her evil scheme)
- Spock cooking in general omg
- Spock and Nyota swapping tea recommendations and going out for tea to cute cafes together and bonding over tea, spicy chai teas (Nyota’s preference) and bitter green teas (Spock’s somfort drink tbh) and all sorts of tea and just teas
- Spock’s arm hair
- That’s a thing in itself okay
- Nyota introducing Spock to ice cream and Spock deciding that perhaps the Terran tradition of large consumption of frozen dairy food products when particularly upset is not so illogical after all
- Finger kisses. Just. Finger kisses.
- Spock pressing his nose into Nyota’s neck.
- Sitting on the couch grading papers together and almost touching but not quite touching and deriving comfort from each others presence
- Nyota leaving random nick nacks (such as the afore mentioned earrings) around Spock’s apartment until she’s moved in completely
- Touch telepathy man like can we talk about this
- Spock and Nyota sharing inside jokes on the bridge because Spock actually has this beautiful dry wit and Nyota thanks the lord for it every waking moment
- Commander Spock and Lieutenant Uhura slaying all of their enemies with their combined eyebrow game
- Spock and Uhura geeking out over languages together
- Spock and Uhura, man
- This was only supposed to be a casual ship whaT HAS HAPPENED TO ME
