I need more headcanons about Jim Kirk being so there for his crew. Give me shit like Jim Kirk spending the first couple months of being Captain to learn everyones names and pronouns. Give me Jim Kirk putting anyone who doesnt respect someone else for their identity in their place regardless of the persons rank. Give me shore leave where someone won't leave a crew member alone while at a bar and as soon as Jim sees it he squares up and walks over with like the entire bridge crew backing him up

imagine-jim-bones-and-spock Answer:

Imagine everyone on the ship knowing that as much as Jim acts tough, when it gets right down to it, he loves his crew more than he loves anything else.

They know that when he says ‘My door is always open,” he means it.

SERIOUSLY FUCK ME UP kirk feed my 'good captain' kink

jaylahed:

“There’s a lot of rules, be sure not to follow all of them” Is possibly the most affectionate, brotherly thing that Kirk has said to anyone ever and I need to see more of that dynamic play out with Jaylah and Kirk.

I want to see Kirk and Jaylah being equally protective of each other and Kirk to teach her about all of the wonderful things she may have missed while she was stranded and her to teach him about engineering and show her things that maybe she’ll make in the future.

And Kirk checking up how she is doing at the academy until they can get her onto the enterprise.

GIVE ME KIRK BROTHERING JAYLAH.
