Tbh I don’t really believe in versions of fem!Kirk where she wears pants instead of the skant. I’m a big believer in skant Kirk. I totally think she would love the opportunity to display her gorgeous legs and ample curves; it would make her feel powerful. Because if man Kirk is going to use his attractiveness to get out of tight situations, you can bet woman Kirk is going to do it, too.
And you know what, if T'Pring is any indication of female Vulcan fashion, I’d be willing to bet fem!Spock would wear the skant, too.
And I’m going to go one step even further!!!! Lady Bones would wear a skant!!! She might even wear the pretty medical uniform that Chapel wears!!! I mean, she’s just an old country doctor, and I think she would include some of her charming Southern femininity in her uniform choice.
Also, I don’t think any woman as old as Bones is shown working on the ship, and I just love the idea of an older woman rocking the skant.
Basically what I’m saying is….skants for everyone.
