In a mirror universe closer to the mirrorverse canon, how Captain Jim Kirk could look like.
I have worked on this some months ago, then left it alone because I
wasn’t getting the result I wanted to. My hope was to do something
inspired by @4aab’s concept here
but, no matter how I tried, I was unable to use the green shirt to get
what I had in mind. A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to
finish this by finding/adding the mirror TOS insignia and awards. The
result gave me another idea (that I will hopefully finish in the near
future, by the way) and the manip was once again left in a corner
waiting. Four, five days ago I decided that I was going to post it and
the hell with it. A couple of days ago I returned to the initial idea
(the long neckline). And, just when I decided that I was going to give
the neckline a try again (just not now)… I see @petimetrek’s post about the Mirrorweek. I should kill her but, actually, this rushing made me found the will to finish this piece so… thank you, Peti. ^^“
Awards are gold, if you remember your TOS right but, since in AOS the
insignia and ranks are silver, I decided to turn the awards in silver as
well.
For me it’s an AU because my headcanon mirror reboot is different in looks (and, clearly, in setting).
