Looking into one another’s eyes
Jim licked the tip of his finger to flip the page of his novel, his eyes filtered the text style imprinted on the slender paper. As much as Spock attempted to be tranquil, Jim heard each stride, they got closer and he felt warmth on his shoulders. A little grin pressing together on his lips, turning his head marginally to his T'hy'la, who was looking down at the page. Spock’s look in the end rose to meet Jim’s, he grinned and kissed his temple. “I apologize for aggravating you’re perusing, Jim.” Spock’s voice was harsh, and profound owed of his aging. “No stresses, Spock. I was going to close the book in any case.” Jim guaranteed Spock, putting his hand over the Vulcan’s vast, warm hand.
