when you think about it, Jim is the kind of person who’d wear high heels simply because he likes them. maybe the shimmering blue reminded him of Spock’s uniform or he just likes the sound of the heels clicking on the floor?
he wouldn’t care about gendered clothing. to quote Eddie Izzard: “They’re not women’s clothes. They’re my clothes. I bought them.”
