I’m absolutely at my wit’s end. I’ve looked at all the formulas and tutorials for drawing extreme angles, but I can’t get his mouth and jaw right. It just turns out looking like a generic man and not a good likeness. He’s looking at Spock but any facial expression is ok, I’m just struggling with his proportions. I would be eternally grateful for any assistance!
I don’t know if this is helpful, but I’ll give it a shot because it’s super hard to draw him!
This is kinda the formula I use when drawing his face. He is literally the only person I’ve had to do this for because he is so difficult to draw! His jaw is kind of like a rounded out square, if that makes sense. So from some angles it will look more round, I guess. XD I also pointed out the rhythm going down his face because that helps me a lot with getting his face shape down when I draw him. I also pointed out another key bone landmark that helps me figure out where the rhythm starts and that would be the outline I put under his eye (just below the supraorbital margin) because right between that margin and the rhythm would be the zygomatic process of temporal bone, I believe?
