Jim slides his hands under the elastic and whispers in Spock’s ear. “Can I take them off now? I promise I’ll keep you warm.”

I'm watching tos and patterns of force came on and I'm thinking kirk and spock had a spat right before this mission bc damn they're being salty. The salt actually was real.
Possible reasons that space husbands argue:
- Jim accidentally left socks on the floor
- Spock kept unintentionally being an octopus hugger, which was cute until Jim kept waking up last night with hair in his face or being unable to breathe
- Jim kept putting off their workout sessions and Spock was really looking forward to seeing him in those red leggings
- Spock interrupted Jim’s conversation with Starfleet Command to say the five hour negotiation was “correctly” five hours, two minutes, and eleven seconds
- Jim wouldn’t stop Vulcan kissing Spock’s hands while Spock was attempting to read a highly intriguing article published in the latest astrophysics journal
- Spock refused to join Jim on their next shore leave, citing Vulcans do not need rest while Jim argued, “Spock, resting isn’T MY PLAN!!!!!!”
- Jim wanted to keep the unicorn dog and Spock said no
But tbh, one was probably mad that the other did something reckless on a mission and got scared shitless at the thought that he could be injured…which prompted “what if” thoughts and then complaints and obvious rebuttals and they argued because they love each other so much and just want the other to be safe and i am so in deep into spirk hell that i’ll never escape bye
