So, I finally finished my AOS spirk (finally! ugh Pine why? how?!). I quite enjoyed that moment when Spock says this. I mean, he might as well have said “I’d love to have the sex with you, Cadet.” right?
Headcanon that whenever Jim and Spock visit planets that aren’t federation members they get married. It’s a good way to establish trust with natives but Jim and Spock also just love getting married. Bones grumbles about it but he’s been in attendance at every single one.
