I didn’t send this, but this is 100% everything that’s important in life.
Spock as a huge advocate for his scientists, making sure they get equipment and funding. In return the science department is SUPER protective of Spock. They will shut you down so fast if you talk shit about him. (When Jim and Spock get together, Jim receives an itemized list of every potentially lethal chemical stored in the science labs. For “future reference.”)
AND SPOCKS FRIENDSHIPS WITH THE CREW. He and Uhura playing music together, she updates him on all the crew news and speaks to him in Vulcan when he wont admit he’s homesick.
Spock and Scotty as a science brotp- sharing ideas and potential solutions because they’re both brilliant, but they have different strengths and they’re awesome when they bounce ideas off each other. Scotty helps find innovative ways to repair scanners and Spock is always contributing to making the engines run more efficiently.
Spock mentoring Chekov, guiding him as he grows as an officer, helping his astrophysics research, having him man the science station to gain experience.
Spock letting Sulu have free reign in the botany labs because Spock knows he really loves plants. Occasionally giving Sulu suggestions for potential improvements to ecosystem controls. Sulu raises several cacti that “would do better in warmer environments” because he knows Spock would love to have a living reminder of Vulcan in his quarters.
Just… Spock and awesome platonic relationships with the crew. So important.
We re-watched Trouble With Tribbles again and I thought wouldn’t it be cute if~~~ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) I hope it happened …in SOME alternate timeline it would have right??? I have not tried to “color” in a long time I wish I had more idea of what I’m doing or a solid style…
