According to our friend at the EMP Museum (who is curating the 50th anniversary exhibit next year) none of the pants used on the show actually survived – it’s very difficult to find a pair nowadays because they all just disintegrated and fell apart over the years. …I found this to be a very amusing twist on the “exploding shirts” joke.
So, I finally finished my AOS spirk (finally! ugh Pine why? how?!). I quite enjoyed that moment when Spock says this. I mean, he might as well have said “I’d love to have the sex with you, Cadet.” right?
Mirrorverse-ifying the movie uniforms! I’ve seen quite a few really beautiful ideas from comics that adopt the Wrath of Khan era uniforms wholesale, but you gotta know that they’d glam it up a bit. Or in the case of my last ideas, become evil space mounties.
