let me give you some fluffy things to think about ..they all have to do with Spock’s Pocahontas-like hair jsyk

  • Spock stroking his hair while he’s thinking about his next chess move
    • He wins that game because Jim got too distracted by Spock’s lean fingers combing through that silky head of hair
  • Jim finally asking him whether he can help brush his hair
    • both of them sitting on Jim’s bed talking about anything and everything while Jim frees Spock’s hair from snarls (to be fair he barely finds any but he doesn’t stop brushing. ..just to be sure..)
    • Spock’s concentration getting a little flimsy when Jim brushes the hair behind his ears
    • Spock falling silent when he notices his voice swaying slightly and Jim grinning like he’s found the holy grail
  • Jim calling Amanda for tips on Vulcan braided hairdos
  • Spock pulling out his hair from under Jim in the morning
  • Spock’s bed head
  • Jim putting flowers in Spock’s hair 
    • Spock walking around on the ship like that
    • Jim standing on tiptoes to smell the flowers when they’re alone in the turbo lift 
    • Jim grinning whenever he sees Spock subtly checking whether the flowers are still in place when he walks past a reflective surface 
  • “Dammit Jim! You can’t let your first officer walk around like that!”
    • bonus: unannounced video calls from Starfleet command
